Dr. Solomon practices Facial Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery in Toronto, Canada. He is certified in Canada and the United States in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Solomon is also certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a designation achieved by only twelve surgeons province-wide .

Dr. Solomon completed his medical school training at the University of Toronto. He then went on to complete a five-year residency training program in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto, one of the world’s leading centres for Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Solomon’s training focused on Head and Neck Oncology, the branch of surgery dealing with the removal of tumours in the head, neck and face, Reconstructive Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery. Some of his mentors are recognized as international authorities in the fields of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Cosmetic and Reconstructive Rhinoplasty Surgery.

Following his residency, Dr. Solomon enhanced his training in Facial and Nasal Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery by spending an additional year refining his skills in Facial Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. He also traveled internationally to train with renowned experts in the field of Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Solomon then went on to complete certification by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Board Certification by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) is viewed as the premier credential in Facial Plastic Surgery within the domain of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. This certification process is rigorous and requires surgeons to have extensive training and experience in facial plastic surgery to be eligible to sit the exam. Dr. Solomon is the Chief of Surgery at York Central Hospital. He is on the teaching faculty at the University of Toronto, Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery - Division of Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Solomon is on the surgical staff at York Central Hospital, Etobicoke General Hospital and St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto. Dr. Solomon has co-mentored a clinical fellowship in Nasal Physiology and Surgery and has been involved in Resident and medical student education in Nasal and Facial Plastic Surgery. Throughout his career, Dr. Solomon has written many articles on Facial Cosmetic Surgery including research studies specifically on Rhinoplasty Surgery.
