The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Western Ontario provides tertiary care to the people of South Western Ontario and beyond. Surgeons in this Division also train medical students, residents and fellows.

Welcome to the website of the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Western Ontario. Our division, founded in 1959 by
Dr. Robert McFarlane, is dedicated to the provision of excellence in patient care as well as providing a superb educational experience for our medical students, residents and fellows. We service a population base of 1.5 million people stretching over all of Southwestern Ontario. The Division possesses subspecialty expertise in hand surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, breast surgery, adult and paediatric craniofacial surgery, burn care, peripheral nerve surgery, aesthetic surgery, wound healing, and cutaneous malignancies.
